On Friday 15th March our school came together to raise money for red nose day 2024. Organised by our Sixth Form student management team, a cake sale, a sponge the teacher, and face painting took place around the school. We raised an amazing £460.11. On the 7th March Crompton House celebrated World Book Day 2024. In our wonderfully decorated library, a murder mystery was set up. Students in their library lessons had to work together using reading skills, visiting different locations in the library, to gather clues. The aim was to work out which of our three staff members

Before the half term students and staff visited Iceland. There were some amazing memories formed as they took in the breath taking views or plunged into the Icelandic water. Last weekend our students, CHS staff, and volunteers took part in the Duke of Edinburgh Ogden Walk. This week our #WriteaSmile team visited St Hughs Primary school to raise awareness of the project for Mental Health Week 2024. On the 26th January our Year 7s took to the stage for a charity speech night. Students worked together in groups in the hopes of winning a donation for their chosen charity. We had a lovely visit from the Royal Marines Band Service on Thursday 18th January. Throughout the school corridors, echoes from musical instruments coming from the hall, could be heard as our brass band performed live to our guests.
