Service and Charities

The school, students and staff are committed to service and charity. Each year we raise thousands of pounds for a wide variety of charities through non-uniform days, cake sales, head shaves, leg waxes and many more inventive ways to raise funds with an element of fun. Our students and staff work with pupils from local primary schools with a Junior Orchestra, inter-school primary sports, sports leaders coaching in primary school, Maths Masterclasses, Theatre in Education, Arts projects, as well as having strong links with the local Rotary Club. In a recent survey 1 in 6 pupils were helping in youth organisations in their local community.
