Student Council

The Student Voice encompasses representatives from all Houses

Each main school tutor group has an elected Form Captain and a Deputy Form Captain. These pupils make up the House Council, which is chaired by the elected House Captain. The House Council discusses issues relevant to the house such as charity collections and inter-house events. The School Council, which consists of the House Captains and their deputies discuss wider school issues and meets with the Headteacher on a regular basis.

Members of the House and School Councils carry out various duties at school functions. These include being receptionists at Open Evenings and Parents Evenings. Pupils also show prospective teachers round the school and make up the Pupil Panel at staff interviews. Each year representatives of the council meet with School Governors to share their views.
