Year 11 Leavers Dinner

The 2015 Year 11 prom was a lovely occasion. Held at the wonderful Rochdale Town Hall, the pupils arrived in bright sunshine by caravan, campervan, motorbike, Ferrari, Bentley or dad’s taxi.  They all looked terrific as the photos show. During the very enjoyable meal the students marvelled at the close-up table magic of Tony Ward, who was funded by the PTFA.

The speeches began with Mr Newell talking about the pupils’ achievements. Rhiannon Ogden-Jones then gave an excellent and witty speech with some very pertinent advice for her class-mates.  This was followed by presentations, some serious such as House Music, Drama and Sports awards, and some less serious.

The evening then continued with lots of group photographs in the photo-booth.

A most enjoyable end to five years at Crompton House, although most will be back in September to start their sixth-form career.
