The year 7s have been learning about Unfair and Fairtrade in their Geography lessons. This unit of work was planned to coincide with Fairtrade Fortnight, where students were encouraged to purchase Fairtrade products and learn about development. Students had to research, plan, design and present a Fairtrade snack. The competition is organised by Traidcraft. The photo gallery shows some of the students in 711, 712 and 721 with their designs. The school winners were from 711 – Madison Hylands, Maliyah Jannat, Matthew Roach, Holly Rodgers and Katy Wilson. Their entry was sent off for the national competition. Well done all.
