Crompton House was buzzing on Thursday 13th August when our Year 13 students came in for their A Level results. And there were many smiling faces as these photos show.
Our students will be off to Cambridge, Durham, St Andrews, Cardiff, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Lancaster, Manchester, Bangor, York, Huddersfield, Salford, Loughborough, East Anglia, Chester, Hertfordshire, and all places in between.
They will be studying Medicine, Dentistry, Music, English Literature, Engineering, Psychology, Journalism, History, Law, Maths, Business Management, Midwifery, Fashion, French, Teaching, Nursing, Criminology, Sociology, Theatre, Geography, Sports Science, Events Management and much more.
Mr Newell, Headteacher, said “These are great results. Our students have worked really hard and the excellent commitment of the Crompton House Students, staff and parents has been reflected in the grades.”

Anna Turmeau is off to Christ’s College Cambridge to study Medicine
Fiona Banham will be at St Andrew’s University to study Modern History
Robert Smith is going to Sheffield University to study Medicine
Jason Hoyle will be at Durham University to study Engineering
Emma Burman is going to Leeds University to study Biological Science
Zoe Helliwell will be at Lancaster University to study English Literature
John Rhodes is going to Liverpool University to study Business Management
Beth-Alice Robinson will be at Manchester University studying Nursing
