Crompton House are Oldham Cross Country Champions, yet again. All those PE lessons getting tired, wet and muddy on the hills of High Crompton were well worth the effort. because when the pupils arrived at Chadderton Park the hills looked smaller, the ground seemed drier and the running was easier.
The day started with Year 7 Boys winning the first event with three runners in the top four places. Cross-country is a team event with the first four finishers counting so with 25 points the Year 7 boys were going to be very hard to beat.
