Crompton House School played host to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge on Tuesday 13th September 2016. Around 50 Year 13 students attended from the neighbouring schools of Blue Coat, Oldham Hulme Grammar and Oldham Sixth Form College.
Students were given an overview of the Oxbridge application process and given useful tips for their personal statement and what to expect if called for interview. Eight academics from the universities were present to aid students. Students then opted to attend either a Science based interview task or a Humanities task. All students found the morning useful and are now geared up for a successful application. Best of luck to all.
