Our prize giving on Thursday 20th July for Years 7, 8 and 9 was a lovely occasion for pupils and parents alike. Mr Steve Hill, Deputy Head at nearby St Joseph’s Primary School, was inspirational talking about his completion of the 230k Amazon Rainforest marathon. Mr Newell spoke about the school’s successes from the past year, and the Training Band and Guitar groups entertained the audience with some great playing. Many thanks to Mrs Nixon, Director of Music, Miss Warburton, Music Teacher and Mr Housley OMC Guitar Teacher.
The vote of thanks was given by two past pupils of St Joseph’s, Abby Brown, Year 7, and Jacob Shanker of Year 9.
