All Crompton House students attended a Founders’ Day Service at Oldham Parish Church on the 1st of October. The ceremony celebrated the founding of the school in 1926 after Crompton House was donated to the Church of England by Miss Mary Crompton and Mrs. Anne Ormerod, on the grounds that it would become a school with a strong Christian ethos. Thanks to Reverand Derek Parker (Vicar of Oldham), Deborah Smith (Diocesan Director of Education), the Right Reverand Mark Davies (Bishop of Middleton), Reverand Katy Cunliffe, Mr Andrew Holt and Mrs Nixon and the music team.
