It’s been a fantastic week at CHS with students and staff really getting into the spirit of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee! Students have attended special assemblies and had fun taking part in a range Royal-themed activities during lesson time. The Food Department held an inter-house Great British Bake-Off competition and we are sure you’ll agree, the entries were fit for a Queen! Some fantastic artwork has been produced and each day this week, our Catering Team have served up a delicious menu of traditional British dishes to mark the occasion. Look out for our young musicians, who are performing as part of the Jubilee Celebrations in Shaw on the evening of Thursday 2nd June at the War Memorial.
