On a picturesque snowy November night our annual GCSE Speech Night was held to a full house in the main hall.
Speech Night is a great chance to share some words of wisdom, good wishes, and congratulations to the recipients of GCSE certificates and awards to last year’s Year 11 pupils.
The evening was welcomed in with an introductory speech from our Chair of Governors, before a presentation from Mrs Hegarty full of recaps and nostalgia for the pupils. Following the presentation was a speech from ex-pupil and now accredited actress and dance teacher Simone Holmes. Simone shed some light on her post-school and career experiences, encouraging the pupils to never give up on their dreams, before presenting each pupil with their certificates and awards afterwards.
