To celebrate Black History Month, on the 18th of October Crompton House students visited Oldham Sixth Form College to see award winning author Danielle Jawando. Inspiring authors asked Danielle questions on her success, her thoughts on different cultures in fiction, and what it takes to be an author. Danielle also shared her personal journey from a background of struggle in Moss Side, to being rejected for work, to finally being published.
