On the final Wednesday of term the staff joined up with the Sixth Form to take part in the Christmas Jumper fundraiser. Year 7 and 8 pupils made poppies to create our Remembrance display at the front of school. The poppies were formed in clay then fired in the kiln before being painted with acrylic paints and varnished. Over 100 individual poppies formed our display. Well done to all the pupils involved!

The Governors are so proud to announce that, after two years of hard work, the Governing Body has been successful in achieving the Governor Mark Accreditation.
Governor Mark is a national award and is supported by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), which only few secondary schools have achieved so far. It is a quality standard, which provides external evaluation of the quality of school governance.
