On the 7th March Crompton House celebrated World Book Day 2024.
In our wonderfully decorated library, a murder mystery was set up. Students in their library lessons had to work together using reading skills, visiting different locations in the library, to gather clues. The aim was to work out which of our three staff members had committed a crime.
We also had a drop everything and read, which commenced at 11am, followed by our World Book Day video which was played in the background.
What a fantastic day we all had. Well done to everyone who came into school dressed up. You all looked great! And of course a huge thanks to Mrs Cullen, our Librarian, who worked tirelessly on setting up the library for the day and in organising the activities.
