EnrichmentCrompton House School offers an enormous amount of activities where all students can participate
Enrichment of the curriculum in and beyond the classroom is an extremely important part of our provision. Each subject area organises additional activities to enhance the learning of students that take place in school. This may include visitors coming into school, musicians, theatre companies and local or national organisations.
Subject areas also organise a wide variety of off-site learning activities, both during and after the school day. For example, there are theatre trips, concerts, museums, visits to business and industry, local history and geography field work. In Year 11 the timetable is collapsed for one week in December to allow students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience.
For all years from 7 to 13 we offer a wide range of clubs and activities linked to students’ personal interests as well as subject areas. This includes sports, arts, food, music, drama, Duke of Edinburgh and a lunch-time club for students to learn more about the Christian faith.
Sixth Form students also receive additional opportunities to support applications to Russell Group universities and Oxbridge, work experience, leadership programme and Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
