Friday 27th September was our now annual Jeans For Genes day in CHS.
Main School, Sixth Form and staff alike all got involved to make the day a great success in raising money and awareness for a great cause. Jeans For Genes works to support families affected by genetic conditions, of which currently the figure stands at around 1 in 10 families!
As well as wearing their jeans Year 7 students took part in a bake sale for which they brought in home baked and store bought cakes and sweet treats. So many students contributed to this that we had to run the bake sale over both breaks and lunchtime as well – what an excellent effort by everyone involved!
This was just one of many charitable events that happen throughout the year at Crompton House and this was a brilliant benchmark, congratulations and thanks again to everybody who took part and keep your eyes out for what comes next.
