Each year the Rotary Club of Crompton & Royton present three Year 13 students with Rotary Student of the Year Awards. This year the awards went to:
International swimmer Jessica Fullalove for being a brilliant role model to all the pupils in the school, and for her work with the PE department.
Head Girl Ellie Knott for her leadership of the Sixth Form Management Team, and also her work in the music department.
Head Boy Sam Lynch for being a great ambassador for the Sixth Form and his work in the drama department.
The awards were made by Les Coop and Ian McAlpine of the Rotary Club at the Sixth Form Leavers Assembly in May. The pupils also attended the club’s lunchtime meeting at the end of July at their headquarters in Shaw where they made a very good impression on the members.
The school is very grateful for the donation of the awards by the Rotary Club of Crompton & Royton.
