It was a proud night for Crompton House on Thursday 5th January when we celebrated the achievements of former and current students during speech night. The night began with speeches from Crompton House staff Mr Holt, Mr Smith and Headteacher Mr Newell who welcomed our audience in the hall. Attending was a guest speaker and award-winning journalist for The Sunday Times, a past student at our school, Hannah Al-Othman, who took to the stage to congratulate and hand awards to students. Hannah shared a personal journey from leaving school to attending Salford University to gaining work and solving criminal cases as a journalist. We would like to thank Hannah for attending speech night and sharing her inspirational journey with our students. And, of course, we would like to congratulate our students, and thank parents, and members of staff who came and made this night special.
