Year 6 Leavers’ Celebration Service
A wet morning in Manchester, but a wonderful bright and positive start to the morning with a Service for Year 6 Leavers’ from Rochdale Borough, within the Diocese of Manchester.
The service is held annually and is a celebration of their time in Primary School and their transition to Secondary School. Bishop Mark of Middleton took the Service.
Two of our students were interviewed and asked How they felt at this time of Year, What challenges they have overcome and What they would say to the children now. Karen Beal, Education Officer, asked the girls the questions. Songs and prayers were performed with the themes of Friendship, Forgiveness and Hope.
