So far this year in Design and Technology, Year 8 pupils have been designing and making Memphis and Pop Art inspired clocks. They were only allowed to use a certain amount of materials, which included plywood, mdf and a small amount of acrylic for the stand or decoration. Some pupils chose to add surface decoration using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM), in order to cut out the numbers in vinyl using the vinyl cutter.
