A group of our Sixth Formers entered a lab last week to find the signs of a suspicious death, which they had to solve! There was a knife covered in blood, the outline of a body on the floor, the room had been ransacked and there were even signs of drinking taking place – all very suspicious! But for our Year 13 Forensic Science group, this was what they had been training for. After putting on their crime scene suits they did a full CIS – High Crompton investigation and no clues were missed. Did they solve the crime? You’ll have to wait until they have written up their investigation, but when you hear the police sirens on Rochdale Road you’ll know they’ve done their job.
